School - in the holidays

Now, I have no problem with school (okay, yes I do, but I understand why we need it) but to have to go to school in my holidays, that's where I draw the line.

If you have not guessed, I am currently in school, during my holidays. I apparently have to work on my major project. Something I could have done at home considering I am writing a story. But no, apparently I can't do that. It wouldn't have been too much of a problem if my other classmates were here. But they aren't. One is sick and the other isn't doing a story for his major project. Yes, there are only three people in my class including me.

My holidays were planned, wake up, read, write, write notes for trials, work on my major project, read again. But no, today my teacher decided to throw everything out the window and make us come here. Up until about an hour ago there was going to be me and another classmate, but since she is 'sick' I am stuck in the sun. Yes, you heard right, sun, we aren't in the classroom where I can work properly, but in the boiling sun. (I am a little worried that a bird will poop on me or my iPad.

If you haven't been to school during the holidays, then consider yourself lucky. Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened (the first being when I was back in NZ) but it is rather creepy. I am used to people in the classrooms and making noise and wandering around the school. But in the holidays they aren't here and it is eerily quiet. Well, usually. I'm a little glad that there is some sort of sporting event happening and some teachers are here getting ready for that, and some photography (?) students are in the classroom. But still it's awkward being the only student in my class here.

Thank god it's only for an hour
